Together, we'll explore which modalities work best for you, tailoring the approach to meet your unique needs.  Your safety is our top priority, and I am committed to creating a secure space for your healing journey.

Dreamwork

Discover the power of meeting your dreams with curiosity, a deeply experiential practice that goes beyond mere interpretation. Together, we'll unlock the richness of your dreams, bringing clarity to waking life conflicts and infusing personal meaning into your journey.

Explore how working with your dreams can not only clarify conflicts in waking life but also bring more personal meaning, enrich family and community connections, expand your emotional range and perhaps even connect you more deeply to place. Ancient peoples and many cultures in the world today highly value dreaming, and dream-sharing was and is a common practice in many places.

For those grappling with persistent nightmares, studies have shown that dream work can be a valuable tool, alleviating the frequency and impact of these distressing experiences. These dreams may also contain wisdom as yet undiscovered.

As a lifelong dreamer, Kimberlee brings a personal touch to her practice. Having trained with renowned Dreamworkers such as Robert Moss, Toko-pa Turner, Christopher Sowton, Leslie Ellis, and the Natural Dreamwork approach, she is dedicated to guiding you on your dream exploration journey.

"A dream ignored is like a letter unopened" ~ Middle Eastern proverb

"Why do they come to us, the animals? What do they want, inhabiting our dreams? Are they the "animal guardians' as other, totemic cultures would say? Are they coming to remind us of our affinity with them, to keep their presence before us? To guard against extinction, both theirs and ours?" ~James Hillman

"Brain researchers estimate that your unconscious database outweighs the conscious on an order exceeding ten million to one. This database is the source of your hidden, natural genius. In other words, a part of you is much smarter than you are. The wise people regularly consult that smarter part." ~Michael Gelb

Somatic Art Therapy

Experience the profound connection with your inner self and body as we delve into the transformative practices of Guided Drawing, Clayfield work and other sensorimotor art therapy practice.

These creative practices, developed by experts like Cornelia Elbrecht, Johanne Hamel and Cathy Malchiodi, are highly effective in addressing the impacts of trauma and navigating challenging life experiences that have left their imprint.

We can access inner subjective sensations and the emotions within these sensations through art therapy exercises. Through this work it's possible to gain access to right brain memory of traumatic experiences implicated in the perpetuation of some traumatic reactions, and facilitate communication of these experiences either verbally or through our body working with the clay, for example.

Kimberlee brings a wealth of expertise, holding a Certificate in Initiatic Art Therapy from the Institute of Sensorimotor Art Therapy (ISAT) founded by Cornelia Elbrecht. She also holds a Certificate in Art Therapy from the College for Educational and Clinical Art Therapy (CECAT) and has completed a Certificate in Somatic Strategies with Linda Thai.

Whether you're navigating trauma or seeking support for challenging experiences, these creative practices can offer a path towards healing and meaning-making in your life.

"The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health, and aliveness. No matter how withdrawn and isolated we have become or how serious the trauma we have experienced, on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves towards sunlight, there is in each of us and impulse moving toward connection and healing." ~Aline LaPierre & Lawrence Heller
