Creative art practices, developed by experts like Cornelia Elbrecht, Johanne Hamel and Cathy Malchiodi, are highly effective in addressing the impacts of trauma and navigating challenging life experiences that have left their imprint.

We can access inner subjective sensations and the emotions within these sensations through art therapy exercises. Through this work it’s possible to gain access to right brain memory of traumatic experiences implicated in the perpetuation of some traumatic reactions, and facilitate communication of these experiences either verbally or through our body working with the clay, for example.
